Food At The Ship Inn

A very warm welcome to The Ship Inn.

Between us we have over thirty years experience in the industry, working in pubs, hotels, golf clubs, castles, Georgia USA and for the world’s best seafood chef in Cornwall.

We returned to our home in the North East to take over The Ship in July 2017.

We are a traditional British pub in the charming village of Wylam. Having previously lived and worked in the village it has always been a special place for us.

We serve proper, tasty and wholesome pub food. We use the best locally sourced ingredients that the season has to offer. 

Our menu is served as small plates and sharing dishes so you may eat and drink however you like.

All of our dishes are served as small plates which can be shared across the table. 

We recommend you have at least 3 dishes each, but feel free to order as many as you like.

Everything is cooked fresh to order and will be served as and when it is ready.
